Start with the job your hotel needs to do. A way for guests to ask questions and reach staff is one requirement. Reservations, payments and a wider digital guest journey are others. Compare the actual workflows before choosing a channel.
Start with how guests will use it
A WhatsApp concierge puts the conversation inside WhatsApp. A hotel's app may offer a separate experience with its own screens and features. App capabilities and access requirements vary, so inspect the product you are considering rather than relying on the category name.
For either option, ask how a guest finds it, what they need before using it and how they reach the hotel team when the automated flow cannot help.
Follow the request to a person
Guest access is only one part of the decision. Send a routine request and look at the staff side. Who receives it? What action counts as acceptance? Who confirms availability or timing? What does the guest see while a response is pending?
These questions apply to a WhatsApp concierge and to a hotel app. A polished guest screen alone does not show how the hotel will fulfil a request.
What Korimaa offers today
Korimaa supports hotel-approved FAQs, guest requests and menu-order requests routed to hotel staff, feedback and human help. Guest conversations are on WhatsApp. Review language requirements against the actual flows your hotel needs.
Hotel staff arrange and confirm services. Korimaa has no PMS integration today, so a hotel evaluating PMS-linked reservations or operational updates needs to assess that requirement separately.
Compare the whole operating cost
For each option, ask for the subscription price, setup requirements, what is included, any usage limits or additional charges, support scope and trial terms. Compare like-for-like written terms rather than a headline price alone.
Korimaa's current price is ₹9,000/month + GST for a hotel with up to 150 rooms. A 14-day free trial is available. Above 150 rooms, pricing is custom.
A practical way to decide
List the three guest tasks your team most needs to support. Test those same tasks in each product. Include a routine question, a service request and a request for a person. Note what works, what depends on staff and what requires another system.
Choose the option that fits the workflows you need today and whose limitations your team understands. No category is the right choice for every hotel.
Evaluate Korimaa with your own questions
Use a demo to inspect a hotel-approved answer and a request passed to staff. Keep any broader requirements visible during the conversation.
